International Conference on Game Jams, Hackathons and Game Creation Events

We are delighted to announce the ninth annual International Conference on Game Jams, Hackathons, and Game Creation Events (ICGJ 2025).  ICGJ is an interdisciplinary conference that welcomes educators, researchers, professionals, and event organizers across various fields related to game jams and hackathons. We aim to publish the proceedings in the ACM Digital Library, as in previous editions. The one-day conference will be hosted by Wrexham University (Wrexham, North East Wales, UK) on 28th of November 2025.

• Wednesday, October 8th 2025 - Decision Notification (Full papers, short papers and event reports)

• Monday, October 15th 2025 - Game Festival Invitations

• Wednesday, October 17th 2025 - Registration Deadline

• Monday November 24th 2025 - ICGJ Jam begins

• Friday November 28th, 2025 - ICGJ’25 Conference Day
